A DRYING CURING, FIXATION APPARATUS & SETTING, BAKING AND THERMOFIXATION
Long experience combined with extensive research and development efforts by the Laboretex Company have resulted in the production of the MINI-TENTER. The MINI-TENTER provides the best means for carrying out the Thermosol process and high performance resin finishes in the laboratory. Conventional laboratory techniques often fail to reproduce mill conditions as the test fabrics are first run through a padder and then transported manually to a dryer, thus exposing the fabrics to atmospheric ageing and different drying conditions.
The feeding and delivery of the test fabric is automatically controlled by the endless pin chain under strictly regulated temperature conditions. Therefore there is no need for ironing or additional drying of the test fabric thus providing excellent color matches and finishes. In short, the MINI¬TENTER provides quick and accurate results.
The electronically adjustable processing time in the drying chamber and width control of the pin chain are important design differences fom contemporary designs. The specially designed pin frame of the MINI-TENTER spreads the test fabrics in four directions in a manner which accurately reproduces mill conditions yielding the desired dimensions and appearance. This is especially important for knit and elastic fabrics.
Applications
1 .The MINI-TENTER takes the place of the conventional drying oven and provides accurate color matches. The time required to produce sample runs is substantially reduced.
2.It can perform an instant test on the fabric running off the pad dyeing machine for prompt detect of side/centre variations in shade.
3.The MINI-TENTER can be used for curing prints as well as dyeing by the Thermofixation process.
4.The MINI-TENTER is an excellent tool for producing sample pattern books as it exactly duplicates the desired color and finish dimensions.
5.To perform and evaluate the degree of colour change and to further avoid it happens during resin finishing and /or drying processes after dyeing.
6.To perform dyestuff tests, auxiliary and chemical tests, and to offer similar conditions as the pilot plant to evaluable influences on fastness and product quality.
7.To evaluate precise resin finishing and its topping formulation.
8.To offer a smooth and accurate test sample for higher precision obtained with computerized colour systems, to give to customers the correct fabrice structure and precise and smooth colour cards.
